Janna Olson

Graton Rancheria, Me-Wuk/Coast Miwok, Patwin land – Napa and Sonoma

Janna is a systems thinker, educator, and consultant in ecological design. She builds 7-year transition plans, working with ranch and vineyard owners in a regenerative agriculture framework. This planning creates a breathable timeline, growing with landholders as their teams master ecological farming principles in practice. Melanesian agro-forestry was Janna’s window into regenerative agriculture. After a decade in NYC hospitality & retail wine, then 5 years in renewable energy/energy efficiency, she co-developed a small island resilience project in the South Pacific tribal nation of Vanuatu.

In California since 2017, she’s augmented her extensive wine knowledge with three full-time seasons on vineyard teams and in viticulture technician work across 9 AVAs while completing comprehensive certifications and study apprenticeships in the frameworks of regenerative ag, biodynamic, and permaculture, applied to vineyard systems.

Janna’s forward-thinking clients from Healdsburg to St. Helena to Acampo seek to establish a considered balance between soil health, habitat conservation, and climate change planning - all to serve thriving vines and orchards.
